He is passionate about accelerating the adoption of impactful technologies that restore health and extend life. With a background in 3D bioprinting, medical device manufacturing and commercialization, and cell and tissue-engineered therapies, Derek has consulted with major MedTech companies and VC firms focused on biotechnology. He holds a B.S. in Entrepreneurial Management & Marketing from the University of Minnesota and certificates in Tissue Engineering, Cardiac Physiology & Anatomy, and Design for Additive Manufacturing.
